Core principle

ShareAI is designed for minimized data storage: no email address is required, access works through a pseudonymous access code. This does not mean usage is fully anonymous or untraceable.

Data processed

• Pseudonymous access code (stored only as a hash, never in plaintext)
• Balance and transactions (ledger)
• Chat history, unless you delete it
• Technical log data (e.g. IP address) for abuse detection
• For deposits: the blockchain transaction you provide. Blockchain payments are publicly auditable — this can be analyzed by third parties.

Retention periods

Retention periods for server logs, chat history, failed invoices, and audit logs are configurable server-side (see CHAT_RETENTION_DAYS, FAILED_INVOICE_RETENTION_DAYS, AUDIT_LOG_RETENTION_DAYS) and enforced via automated cleanup commands.
